Another particularly captivating diving spot is that of La Franata in the archipelago, on the northern side of Vulcanello. After descending the slopes of the promontory you reach a canal separating the islands of Vulcano and Lipari.

Here, you can find colonies of Posidonia that reveal a very steep descent down to a depth of about 50 metres. A truly special experience and very challenging.
